Center for Justice Hires Director of Development!
The Rhode Island Center for Justice has hired Frank Maher, of Pawtucket, RI, as the Director of Development. Frank has worked for nearly twenty years in nonprofit management with a focus on program and fund development. In this role, Frank will manage all development efforts including the annual fund, major gifts, events and grants.
Most recently Frank worked for Save The Bay, in Providence, RI, and has represented local and national organizations including Trinity Repertory Company, The American Red Cross of Greater Boston, and The National Kidney Foundation of New England. As a board member with the Rhode Island chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Frank has the privilege of working with many members of the Rhode Island nonprofit sector and hopes to promote the mission of the Center for Justice, “protecting legal rights to ensure justice on behalf of vulnerable individuals, families, and communities in Rhode Island.”
In Frank’s words, “the mission of the Center for Justice expands access to justice for thousands of people in our community, providing civil legal assistance that is greatly needed. My role is to raise awareness of the programs, services and needs of the Center for Justice to help build a sustainable model for ongoing legal services delivery and growth in the future.”
